Dying Breed Television is selecting products for hands-on evaluation through two recurring segments: Keys to Success and Tricks of the Trade.
Keys to Success focuses on products, equipment, and innovations that can make a measurable difference in how viewers hunt, work, travel, maintain property, or enjoy the outdoors. Tricks of the Trade focuses on practical tools, techniques, and knowledge that can help people get better results and avoid expensive mistakes.
The objective is not to place a product on a table and repeat advertising claims. Products are put into real situations—in the field, on the road, on the water, on the trail, or around the property—and evaluated by people who understand how they are supposed to perform.
Companies may submit products for editorial consideration or discuss a broader sponsorship. A product submission does not guarantee television coverage or a favorable recommendation. Sponsorship opportunities may include host integration, commercial placement, television exposure, digital and social content, and professionally produced promotional footage subject to agreement.
Shawn Chatham’s standard is direct: if he would not recommend the product without being paid, he will not recommend it because someone is paying. That protects the viewer and gives the right brand partnership genuine credibility.
